A site that worked well, but looked dated and was not found enough.
Waterparadijsje rents out three holiday homes: Bohemien and Cabana on the Loosdrecht lakes and Villa Yvonne in Albufeira. The owners welcome their guests themselves and want guests to book directly, without commission to a booking platform. The existing site, with booking module and management environment, did its job, but the look needed renewing and findability in six languages could be much better. The booking module, the management environment and the pricing rules had to stay as they were.
A new front on the existing engine, with findability as the starting point.
We redesigned the site, with calm and room for the photos, and built it in Laravel and Livewire on top of the existing management environment. Prices, availability and discounts come live from the back office; the booking module calculates the total on the spot, including cleaning, tourist tax, last minute and early bird discounts. Every page exists in six languages with its own URLs, and new region pages for Loosdrecht and the Algarve catch the searches guests start with. On top of that structured data for search engines, Trustpilot reviews on the site and iCal feeds that sync the calendars of the homes with other channels. Photos are delivered automatically in the right sizes.
