1. Who we are
MWH Media BV, located at Appelvinkstraat 8, 1749VL Warmenhuizen and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42188722, is the controller for the personal data processed through this website. Questions about your data or about this statement can be sent to info@mwhmedia.nl.
2. What data we process and why
We only process data that you give us yourself through the forms on this website, and the technical data needed to keep the website working safely.
- Quote request: company name, name, email address, phone number, website (optional), how you found us (optional), your description and any attachments. We use this data to assess your request, prepare a quote and contact you. Legal basis: the performance of a contract or the steps leading up to it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Callback request: name, phone number, preferred time, preferred day and subject (optional). We use this data solely to call you back. Legal basis: the steps leading up to a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- SEO scan: the address of the website you have scanned and the measurement results. If you request the full report, also your name, email address and company name (optional). We use this data to send you the report and possibly contact you once. Legal basis: the steps leading up to a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For the explanation in the report we send the measurement results, without your personal data, to an AI model by Anthropic.
- Technical data: IP address, browser details, the page from which you sent the form and any campaign codes in the link. We use this data to prevent spam and abuse of the forms and to know how a request reached us. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a safe and working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- If your request becomes an assignment, we keep your data as part of our records. Legal basis: the performance of the contract and our legal retention obligation (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
3. What we don’t do
We do not use your data for newsletters or marketing unless you ask for it yourself. We do not sell your data. We do not make decisions about you based on automated processing or profiling. We do not use the content of your request to train AI models.
4. How long we keep your data
Quote requests that do not lead to an assignment are kept for a maximum of two years after the last contact, so we can place a follow-up question. Attachments to requests are deleted after 90 days. Phone numbers from callback requests are deleted as soon as the request has been handled. Data belonging to an assignment, such as quotes and invoices, is kept for seven years because of the tax retention obligation. Technical data for spam prevention is kept for a maximum of 90 days. Results of an SEO scan without a requested report are deleted after 90 days; with a report the same periods as for quote requests apply.
5. Who we share data with
We only share your data with parties we need to keep the website and our email working, and with no one else, unless the law requires us to. With these parties we have a data processing agreement or their standard data processing terms apply, which comply with the GDPR.
- Hosting of the website and the database: on a server in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). The hosting company is a US company; for that part the approved EU standard contractual clauses for transfers apply.
- Email: confirmations and notifications are sent through our email provider within the EU.
- Spam check on the forms: Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to determine whether a submission comes from a human. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Explanation in the SEO report: Anthropic (Claude). It only receives the website address and the measurement results, no name or email address, and under its API terms does not use the data to train models.
- Visitor statistics: a cookieless, privacy-friendly service that stores no personal data and does not track visitors across websites, only if it is enabled.
6. Cookies and local storage
This website uses no tracking cookies and no third-party cookies for advertising or profiling. That is why you see no cookie banner. What there is:
- A functional session cookie, needed to make the forms work and to save your answers in between. It expires at the end of your visit.
- Your preference for light or dark display, stored in your own browser. It never leaves your device.
7. Security
The connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS). Forms are protected against spam and abuse. Attachments are stored outside the public folder of the website. Access to requests is limited to the person handling them. Should a data breach occur despite these measures that poses a risk to you, we will inform you and the Dutch Data Protection Authority as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to have processing restricted, to receive your data in a common file format and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Send your request to info@mwhmedia.nl. We respond within a month and may ask you to prove your identity. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9. Changes
